YSEALI Women's Leadersip Academy 2025 - Innovather Day 1

Assalamualaikum, Hi guys! In this nice occasion. I want to share some insights that I got from YSEALI WLA today. I'm very grateful for every chance I have. It seems that "nothing is impossible" as long as we keep trying. I met lots of awesome people there, and it amazed me.

Explanation by Diana

My feeling said, "That's exciting, you are part of the YSEALI WLA 2025 in the virtual agenda! We have fun games sessions, breakout rooms and discussions. Now, I listened to Diana Khaitova's session, and it sounds incredibly insightful. Let's break down her explanation about "the things that stop women from growing as leaders" in a clear, simple, and engaging way, hehehe.

PUSH FROM SOCIETY

This means society puts pressure on women to focus more on their homes and families than on their careers.

1. People often expect women to cook, clean, and take care of kids even when they have a full-time job.

2. Men don't usually get the same kind of pressure, which makes it harder for women to grow in a leadership role.

(Imagine trying to climb a ladder while carrying heavy bags, those 'bags' are society expectations).

PULL FROM INSIDE (INTERNAL BELIEFS)

This is about what women feel and believe inside themselves.

1. Some women choose to put family first and might hold back from taking big career steps, even if they are capable.

2. They may worry, "what if I can't be a good mom and a good leader at the same time?".

(It is like having two dreams but feeling like you can only chase one.)

PUSH FROM ORGANIZATIONS

Many companies and workplaces do not have enough support for women leaders.

1. For example, there may be no leadership training programs for women, no mentoring, or no flexible work schedules.

2. This makes it harder for women to move up, even if they have the skills and passion.

(It is like trying to run a race, but the path for women is full of obstacles.)

WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?

Because when women lead, everyone wins, organisations grow, teams become more creative, and the world becomes more balanced. But first, we need to clear those barriers and make space for more women to shine.

When women lead, they do not just rise; they lift others with them. To unlock their full potential, we must break the limits set by society, shift mindsets, and build systems that support their growth. Empowered women leaders do not just change workplaces; they change the world.

CONCLUSION

As I reflect on today's powerful session with Diana Khaitova, I'm reminded that the journey of women in leadership is not just about breaking glass ceilings. It's about rebuilding the foundation to be more inclusive, supportive, and fair. Real change begins when society, organisations, and individuals come together to remove the barriers that hold women back. Because when women are given the space to lead, they do not just lead, they inspire, transform and create a better future for all.
